Fish identification

The theme of today was fish identification.  We spent the morning class session learning about the different families and specific species of fish that are found in the carribean and what we would be seeing later in the day.   It was hard to believe how many different kinds of fish are found here!

We ate lunch and after a short break headed out to fine tune our fish identification skills.  Within 50 yards of the launch we had seen over 20 species of fish!  The next two hours were spent finding and identifying fish.

Following our snorkel we headed back to the classroom to go over the fish we saw.
